Xhapeland just signed a partnership deal with the Quiksilver Boardriders store in Dakar, Senegal. Run by local surfer and Quiksilver team rider Antonin Perrier, the store will become the first major selling point for Chilli, Rusty, Town&Country, JR and WANTED surfboards in West Africa, with Xhapeland’s factory as its main supplier.

This partnership marks Xhapeland’s entrance in the African market, after reinforcing its position in Europe by centralizing the production and distribution for Chilli, Rusty, Town&Country and JR surfboards in The Old Continent.

Located in the Cape Verde Peninsula, with long stretches of coast facing North, South and Southwest Atlantic, Dakar area is a true swell magnet with plenty of world class reef breaks, consistent offshore winds and empty line-ups. The city is one of the most exciting surf centers in Africa today, with a growing number of wave riders and surfing conditions 365 days a year.

Quiksilver Boardriders Dakar also includes a surf house & school, organizing surf trips in the region and setting a great starting point for exploring uncharted waters in Africa.

Antonin Perrier, one of the most notorious surfers in Senegal, will be Xhapeland’s representative in the country, helping boosting the unprecedented expansion of the Portuguese factory in the African continent.
