The volume and surface distribution give extra paddle power. The outline is full from nose to tail. Extra area under the chest gives a big advantage on the takeoff. But the outline is the key. The nose isn't round, and performance is obvious from the first turn. The tail works the same way - its bigger surface provides stability underfoot, making it hard to ride it wrong. It's a really welcoming board in that sense.

The balanced rocker combined with a medium concave makes the board fast and predictable. A soft double concave under the fins gradually deepens towards the rails, giving more drive and security, which is essential for a board with a wider tail.
