Honey
Invented by Californian surfer Steve Lis in the late 60's, the twin-fin Fish is one of the most praised surfboard designs of all time. A Fish board in its core, the Honey loves to draw long, fast lines. Honey's dream conditions are 3-4ft zippy runners. Its straight outline handles sloppy waves fine (its width skates over flat sections smoothly) but every time you got a down-the-line wall ahead of you, this is where it really shines. The Honey absolutely comes alive on fast, forehand waves with sections to chase down, allowing you to lay down the rail for a roundhouse turn after trimming up a wall like Superman. The overly flat rocker and extra surface area provide unmatchable paddle power and buoyancy. The Honey is stable yet super manoeuvrable. A must-have in any surfer's quiver, from beginner to pro. Set it up with retro Keels and you're in for the fastest ride of your life. Go with modern Keels instead and you'll get more response to glide through arcs, and release at the end if you like to get freaky. © WANTED Shapes
